Richard B. Murphy, Managing Partner of Murphy Cordier Casale Axel PLC Law Firm, is proud to announce that Jennifer J. Axel has joined the firm as its newest partner. Axel will begin her work with the firm effective immediately.

Axel, an experienced litigator, brings more than 15 years of experience to the firm. She has developed a wide range of experience with clients ranging from partnership disputes to product recall and supply chain litigation. Her areas of focus include commercial litigation, real estate litigation, fiduciary and unfair competition litigation, insurance recovery, business torts and class action defense, bankruptcy and distressed litigation, and corporate officer liability litigation.

Axel’s career has given her the opportunity to successfully represent a diverse and distinct roster of clients. She has obtained judgment in favor of a large Arizona-based hospitality company against former partners attempting to undo a sale of the company, and summary judgment on behalf of one of the largest ambulance transport companies in the United States in connection with a multi-year False Claims Act litigation. She has obtained summary judgment verdicts in favor of clients on commercial contracts and business torts, and obtained a multi-million judgment on behalf of a telecommunications company in breach of contract and business tort litigation.

Axel attended UCLA, where she graduated cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree; in 2005 she graduated with a Juris Doctorate from New York University. She was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 2005. Axel has court admission in the US District Court, District of Arizona (2005), and the US Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit (2007). She has been recognized by Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Stars, business litigation, for the past six years, 2014-2020. Axel departs Polsinelli Phoenix, an Am Law 100 firm with 900 attorneys in 21 offices nationwide, to join Murphy Cordier Casale Axel PLC.
